Let Moore help you discover the power of your passion. We are hiring a Professional Engineer to work on our Municipal team in Minnesota. A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field and have a Professional Engineer license in the state of Minnesota. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience. Other qualifications include knowledge of funding programs in Minnesota and North Dakota as well as a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of engineering. In addition, it is expected that the candidate will be able to prepare engineering records and write concise technical reports.
Specific job duties for this position include directing and/or designing plans and calculating and preparing engineering documents for respective engineering disciplines. This position will prepare and monitor project budgets and be responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of these projects. Other duties include preparing funding applications and preliminary engineer reports as well as assisting in construction bids or negotiations. Our Professional Engineers are expected to establish and maintain cordial and professional working relations with clients and contractors and attend client meetings. Some travel is required for project meetings, client meetings, or to construction sites.
