7/19/24 Update

July 22: Beginning July 22nd, Maple Drive will be closed from 1st Street to 341 Maple Drive until August 5th to allow for removal of unsuitable road material, replacement of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and roadbed preparation. Paper notices will be delivered to affected properties 72 hours in advance. Please plan to have needed vehicles removed from the closure area prior to July 22nd.

July 31st: Curb and gutter scheduled to be installed on the north half of Maple Drive. Once curb is installed, overnight parking is allowed on Maple Drive, but vehicles must be removed by 7am. If the contractor is not able to contact the owner of any vehicle left on the street after 7am, the vehicle will be towed to the school parking lot until school has resumed, after which any towed vehicle will be retrievable from the designated parking areas on 5th Avenue or 1st Street.

The contractor is finishing replacement curb stops, valves, fittings, and hydrants along the south end of Maple Drive, which may temporarily interrupt your driveway access. Generally, if access to your house is blocked from one direction, it will be open in the other direction.

Notices from the Contractor:A temporary mailbox cluster has been installed on 1st Street, just east of the Maple Drive intersection. Beginning Saturday, July 13, Maple Drive residents will need to collect their mail from these boxes. Each house will have a mailbox with their house number on it.
Please ensure that your garbage cans are set out the evening prior to garbage collection day. Many cans have been set out late on garbage day, and this risks your garbage not being picked up.
Please ensure that sump pump discharge lines are not draining to the street. If possible, reroute above ground hoses away from Maple Drive, or use sewer connections if available until construction is complete.
