Public drinking water systems use different sources of water for their communities. Surface water may contain sediment, germs, and chemicals. Some water supplies may also contain specific toxins, such as algae, color, and turbidity.

Water is treated differently in communities depending on their source water to make water safe for human use and consumption. WATER SUPPLY
Many communities use ground and surface waters as their water source for their communities. Moore has extensive experience in ensuring each community has an adequate supply for its needs including well design and surface water intake systems.

PUMPING SYSTEMS AND STORAGE TANKS
Almost every city needs a tank to store its clean water supply. Water storage tanks are used to store water and provide faster access to clean water supply.

Tanks are designed with the community in mind. Our experts help determine adequate water pressure, storage tank volume, type of tank, and location. Moore also helps rehabilitate existing tanks to maximize their service life.
