We’re Hiring! Municipal Graduate Engineer
Congrats grad! You’ve finally reached the end of your university education and are ready to join the workforce full-time. Jumping into the engineering field can be daunting for recent graduates. You need a team of mentors to show you the ropes and support you as you advance in your early career. At Moore, that’s what we do.
We’re happy to announce that we are seeking a recent Civil Engineering graduate to join our Municipal team as a Graduate Engineer.
Our team members work in offices throughout the Midwest. Candidates who can reliably commute to our office in either Bismarck or Minot, North Dakota, will be considered for the position.
You won’t be treated like a newbie or handed the grunt work. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals as you learn new skills by doing the work and interfacing with clients.
A typical day as a Graduate Engineering will involve meeting with clients to discuss their project’s specific needs and preparing reports, funding applications, construction schedules, and designs. You will also conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will be an essential part of the team, working with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects. You will also have the opportunity to serve as an on-site project representative, where you’ll apply your problem-solving and communication skills to the test.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have completed the Engineer in Training exam with aspirations to obtain a PE license in the near future. You’ll need a general understanding of AutoCAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You must also stay current in your job specialty by attending continuing education courses.
